To find zeroes of rational functions

look in the numerator.

A hole is created in a rational function when:

the numerator and denominator share a common factor.

When looking for a Vertical Asymptote in a rational function.

set the denominator equal to zero, excluding any values that create holes.

What is a relative extrema?

the highest or lowest value of a specific region.

Over closed intervals, end points are considered

Extremas.
