Social Learning Theory

A theory suggesting that people learn from each other through observation, imitation, and modeling. (AKA observational learning)

Learned Helplessness

A psychological condition in which an individual feels unable to change a situation due to repeated failures, leading to a lack of motivation and action.

internal locus of control

the belief that one can influence events and outcomes in their life through their own efforts and actions.

external locus of control

the belief that outside forces, such as luck or fate, primarily determine life events and outcomes.

Vicarious Conditioning/Learning

A type of learning that occurs by observing the behavior of others and the consequences that result from those behaviors, often leading to changes in one's own behavior.
