Volume of Prisms Formula:
V = Bh, where B = area of base
Triangular Prism Volume:
V = area of triangle x h
Rectangular Prism Volume:
V = area of rectangle x h
Cubic kilometres (km³), cubic metres (m³), cubic centimetres (cm³) and cubic millimetres (mm³):
Common metric units for volume.
Megalitre (ML):
1 ML = 1000 kL
Kilolitre (KL):
1 kL = 1000 L
Litre (L):
1 L = 1000 mL
Volume of a solid with a uniform cross-section:
Volume = area of cross-section X perpendicular height
Volume Formula:
V = A × perp. height
Rectangular Prism (Cuboid) Volume:
V = l x w x h
Triangular Prism Volume Formula:
V = (1/2 x b x h) x h
