RAPPS - freedom of religion, assembly, press, petition, speech

2nd Amendment

Right to bear arms

3rd Amendment

No housing of troops

4th Amendment

No unreasonable searches/seizures

5th Amendment

1) no self incrimination

2) right to due process

3) right to grand jury

4) cannot be tried twice (double jeopardy)

5) eminent domain (compensated)

6th Amendment

right to fair and speedy trial; an attorney; confronting your accuser; a jury in criminal cases

7th Amendment

right to a jury in civil cases

8th Amendment

no excessive bail/fines and no cruel/unusual punishments

9th Amendment

individuals can gain new rights/freedoms as needed

10th Amendment

rights not given to the fed government are reserved for the states and people
