What are some Benefits of Using Networks?

Hardware- Being able to use a printer

Software- Allowing multiple users to run the same program but on different computers

Data- Accesing data from any computer on the Network

What is the definition of PAN?

PAN- Personal area Network: A single user can access the internet

What is the definition of LAN?

LAN- Local area Network- Multiple users can access the interent, typically located in rooms, buildings, where the devices are “local” to each other

What is the definition of WAN?

WAN- Wide area Network- Devices are connected across a wider geographical area, they form a wide area network
