1st amendment

Protects the freedom of religion, press, petition, assembly, and speech.

2nd amendment

Right to bear arms

3rd amendment

No quartering of soldiers

4th amendment 

Right against search and seizure unless a warrant is obtained or there is probable cause. 

5th amendement

Protects against self-incrimination and double jeopardy

6th amendment

Right to a speedy and public trial with an impartial jury. 

7th amendment

Right to a jury even in civil cases, if the amount exceeds $20 

8th amendment

No cruel or unusual punishment, and no excessive bail 

9th amendment

10th amendment

Any powers not given to the federal government are given to the state. 

13th amendment

abolishes slavery

14th amendment

defines citizenship, and due process to the states.
