Infancy and toddlerhood
It occurs the 1st and a half to 2 years of life. They are dramatic to growth and change

What age does the brain reaches adult size, but continues to develop

Rhey learn about social relationships beyond the family through interaction with friends and fellow students. Same-sex friendships are salient in this srage
Adolescence
It is a period where dramatic physical change marked by an overall physical growth spurt and puberty
They hacve a sense of invincibility that puts them in at greater risk kf dying from accidenta or contracting STIs

This period consists of ates of late teens, twenties, and thirties. We are at our physiological peak but are most at risk of involvement in crimes and substance abuse
