Assasination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand: What?
The Archduke was visiting Sarajevo and on his last day was driving through town in an opened car. A bomb is thrown at them by a person who is part of the Black Hand. It is swatted away and they continue on their way. They have to turn around and they stop in front of Princip. He almost did not shoot him because Sophie was present, but does so anyways. Both Ferdinand and Sophie are hit and are dead by the time they reach the govenor’s palace. Princip tries to commit suicide by taking cyanide but because it was so old it just burns him. He and the bomber are arrested and share that they are part of the Black Hand who’s mission was to kill the Archduke
