The list of characteristics that are now seen as good are a mix of both strong and weak characteristics

Weak people learned to get beat up and stay strong, therefore growing resentment and being productive from that resentment

How did strong and weak learn to define their own characteristics?

• Strong: looked to themselves and said yes

• Weak: looked to the strong and said no

What is the lambs and the birds of prey metaphor?

• Lambs are the weak and they learn to be more intelligent and productive

• The birds of prey are the strong and they think their characteristics are good and that everyone should follow the values that they believe

What does Nietzsche believe has damaged humanity?

• The overthrow of aristocratic ideals by the weak

• People believing that perseverance through misery is a good thing

• The weak end up convincing themselves and everyone else around them that they are better than the strong

What does Nietzsche wish the strong would do?
