Biological Approach

Social Approach

Ecological Validity
The extent to which research findings can be generalized to real-world settings.
Validity
The degree to which a study accurately measures what it claims to measure.
Reliability
The consistency of a measure; whether the same results would be obtained if the study was repeated.
Replication
The process of repeating a study to verify its results.
Generalization
Applying the findings of a study to a broader context beyond the participants involved.
Case Study
In-depth examination of an individual or group, often used to explore complex issues.
Self-Report Method
Participants provide data about themselves through questionnaires or interviews.
Observational Study
Research involving the systematic observation of behavior in a natural setting.
Longitudinal Study
Research that follows the same subjects over a period of time to observe changes.
