Introduction
Describe problem
clarify terminology
Relevant details needed to perform investigation
What information has been provided with this task?
What information will I need to pursue?
what decisions can be made and what conclusions can be stated?
AIM OF THE INVESTIGATION
Method
Step by spes
Draw diagrams (Use ruler!!)
Results
What does it show
what have you learnt
is your assumption true
Conclusion
Summarise WHOLE task
Reflect on the process
Discuss how valid your results are
How can you improve
What do you need to know in general
Assume teacher knows nothing
With the problem you should clarify
Terminology and describe problem in own words
additional stuff
draw diagrams and state all rules
what about your findings
Summarize them and see if there valid
Will reader understand
investigation about
trying to find out
how you got answer
what you have found
Conclusion
In conclusion go through the tools that you need
in conclusion, write why your points are important
Process
Define terms that wouldn’t be clear,
now work towards solving the problem and state what you would need to do (times or multiply)
show the process and state why you would need those tools that you need to do for certain things
Introduction
-the audience needs to know why you are doing what you are doing and what you’re trying to accomplish-
-introduce problem and then how you are going to solve it-
the aims of the investigation,
Reasonableness
• Is the solution valid?
• Does this solution solve the task?
• Is the solution both, efficient and optimal?
Comparison of SI and CI
Simple interest is calculated only on the principal (that is, the initial amount) so the amount of interest being added to a loan or investment remains constant or fixed. Compound interest is interest earned on the principal amount plus interest on the interest already earned.
Introduction
Recognises the need to systematically determine at least three values in order to look for patterns
Assumptions
the interest rate does not vary for the duration of an investment, and no deposit or withdrawal is made
Findings
Makes some comparison
Discusses accuracy of the new rule and adjusts if necessary
Demonstrates use of the new rule
