Logrolling
A positioning technique that maintains spinal alignment sand prevents further injury.
When logrolling a patient, the bed must be flat and at least 2 healthcare workers must be present.
Logrolling may be necessary for patients who: have a suspected damage of the spine, spinal injury, spinal fusion, or an unconscious patient Patients recovering from a hip replacement may also need to be logrolled.
