Training in a way that specifically improves the desired skill or component.
Reversibility
The principle that fitness gains can be lost if training stops.
Warm-Up
A preparatory activity that reduces injury risk and enhances performance.
Cool-Down
Post-exercise activity to prevent blood pooling and promote gradual heart rate reduction.
