Christians will want to follow the 10 commandments that God set out. Christians will do this so they can gain salvation though Law from the Farther.

Christians will also be thankful and respect Jesus Christ. This is because Jesus gave Christians salvation though grace when he died on the cross.

How does belief in sin and original sin influence Christians today

Belief in sin influences Christian’s on what to avoid in life. Christians know that sin eventually leads to hell, which they will want to avoid.

Original sin shows Christian’s that we have built in urges to do bad things and disobey God. This will influence Christian’s to get baptised as this purify you and gets rid of your original sin.

One way that the incarnation influences Christian’s is by having them celebrate Christmas. Christians celebrate Christmas in order to remember when Jesus came down to earth, and ultimately start his journey to reconcile our relationship with God.

The incarnation also influences Christians to take Jesus’s teachings seriously. Christians are influenced to do this because they belive he has divine authority and that he is God, in flesh.

The ascension also represents Jesus concerning sin and death, and ascending to an afterlife. This shows Chrsitains that there is life after death, and this influences them to follow in the way of Jesus, so they can go to an afterlife aswell

One way that the crucifixion influences Christians today is by having them take holy communion. Christians take holy communion to remember Jesus and how he died for our sins.

The crucifixion also influences Christians to pray for forgiveness. Christians can now pray for forgiveness from God as Jesus made this possible by dying on the cross and reconciling the relationship between God and man.

Christians believe that Hell is a place for sinner and it is a place of eternal suffering. Christians do not want to go here, and this will influence them to avoid sin.

Christians believe that God will judge them based on their sins on the day of judgment, and those who show repentance will be rewarded with heaven. This influences Christian’s to avoid sin, and live life how God instructs them too.

Christians also believe that in order to be judged you need to be resurrected. This influences them to avoid cremation and perform burial services when someone dies, so that there body can be resurrected for judgment.

Christians may be influenced to read the bible more by the trinity. They would do this so they could learn more bout God and better understand him.

The trinity may also help Christians understand their closeness to the Holy Spirit. Christians know that God is transcendent but can also feel close to him via the Holy Spirit who is immanent in all of our lives.

Christians are influenced to be fair and just with others. This is because God is just and Christian’s aim to follow in the ways of God.

Christians are also influenced to avoid sin. Christian’s are influenced to avoid sin becuase God is omniscient and Christians know that God will judge you on the day of judgment, and they will not want God to see their sin.

Some Christians may believe that the suffering in the world is a test of faith. This will influence them to please god as they think that those who pass the test shall receive rewards.

Some Christians will be confused as to why an omnibenelovent, omniscient and omnipotent God would allow for evil to exist. This may even influence some Christians to turn away from Christianity as it doesn’t make logical sense.

Christians know that salvation can be archived though grace. St Paul said that “Christ died on the cross for our sins”. This displays to Christians the omnibenelovence of God as Christ died for their sins.

Christians also know they can achieve salvation through law. The 10 commandments set out by god in Exodus, eg. “You shall not kill” show Christians that they can achieve salvation by following the instructions that God has layer out.

Christains are taught in Genesis 2 that original sin was gained from the garden of Eden when eve ate the apple that broke the gap between man and god.

Some Christian’s also believe that satan is the cause of sin as he tempts people to sin. This is shown in the book of Luke when Jesus is tempted by such things such as bodily hunger and world power.

Christians believe that Jesus in God in flesh. The Bible teaches them that “The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us”. This shows Christian’s gods immanent and omnipotent power, as he is both fully human and fully divine.

The incarnation also shows Christians how much God loved them. God shows his omnibenelovence by sending Jesus to the world so that he can guide people on how to get to heaven.

Christians believe that the crucifixion is an act of atonement that pays the price for human sinfulness. St Paul said that “Christ died for all our sins”. This shows Christian’s how we gained salvation through grace from Christ.

One belief about the resurrection is that Jesus appeared to some of his disciples. Jesus told them that he rose from the dead and the prophecies he told were true.

Another belief about the resurrection is that it stopped the crucifixion from being a cause of despair. St Paul said that “if christ has not been risen, your faith is pointless and you are still in your sins”. This shows chrsitains that the resurrection is a very important part of Jesus’s life

Christians also believe that the ascension wasn’t instantly after the resurrection. They believe that Jesus ascended 40 days after the resurrection.

On belief about the afterlife is that there is heaven and hell, and you will be judged by God before going to either. Christians believe that on the day of judgment those who have sinned will go to hell if they show no signs of repentance, and those who have repented will be rewarded with heaven.

Another Christian belief about life after death is that your body will be resurrected before judgment. In the creeds, Christians are taught that “I believe in the resurrection of the body. This demonstrates that the afterlife is bodily and eternal.

Christians believe that the universe was made in 6 days and that God rested on the 7th. This is taught in Genesis 1 and Christians know that the earth was created on the 3rd day.

Christians are also taught that we were made in the image of God. The Bible teaches human that “God created man in his own image”. This shows them that God created us to represent him on Earth, and therefore we should follow in his ways.

Christians may believe that suffering is on our world due to our free will. St Augustine teaches Christians that ‘free will gives us the ability to sin’. This demonstrates that evil and suffering is present in our world as to a fault of our own.

Christians may also believe that God is like a parent. St Irranaus taught that suffering Dane vil is present because God needs to show us what it feels like so that we can avoid it, like a parent would to a child.
