Magnetism

Domain Theory

The theory that all magnetism results from the movement of electrons within materials.

Compass

A magnet suspended on a pivot to freely rotate in alignment with Earth's magnetic field.

Magnetic Field Lines

Imaginary lines that represent the strength and direction of a magnetic field, originating from the north pole to the south pole of a magnet.
