When would you use a relatives?

When we want to identify or describe someone/thing

When would you use the indicative or subjunctive for the relative?

Indicative: when we know the identity

Subjunctive: when we don’t know the identity

What types of relative phrases are there?

Explicativas: they give additional information

Especificatives: they define, give neccesary information to identify the person/thing mentioned before.

What relative would be used for ‘who, which, that’ for both animate and inanimate objects?

quien/quienes

What relative refers to an idea?

lo que/lo cual

What relative refers to the possesion of ideas and things?

cuyo/a/os/as

When is qué used in spanish?

it appears in questions or in admirations

when is cuál used in spanish?

It appears in questions.

It doesn’t appear before a noun, if there is a noun, use ‘qué’.

Whats the difference between ‘qué’ and ‘cuál’ with the verb ‘ser’?

qué + ser is used as a question of definitions: ¿Qué es la vida?cuál + ser is for other things: ¿cuál es el problema?
