عَدْنٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍۢ وَيَلْبَسُونَ ثِيَابًا خُضْرًۭا مِّن سُندُسٍۢ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ ۚ

The gardener's gave the owner of the two gardens the following replies.

His ˹believing˺ companion replied, while conversing with him,
"Do you disbelieve in the One Who created you from dust then ˹developed you from a sperm-drop then formed you into a man? But as for me: He is Allah, my Lord, and I will never associate anyone with my Lord ˹in worship˺.
قَالَ لَهُۥ صَاحِبُهُۥ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُۥٓ أَكَفَرْتَ بِٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ مِن تُرَابٍۢ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰكَ رَجُلًۭا
لَّـٰكِنَّا۠ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ رَبِّى وَلَآ أُشْرِكُ بِرَبِّىٓ أَحَدًۭا

whats the meaning of: قَالَ مَآ أَظُنُّ أَن تَبِيدَ هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَبَدًا

"I do not think that this will perish - ever."

whats the meaning of: تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ ٱلشِّمَالِ

passing away from them on the left

whats the meaning of: وَكَلْبُهُم بَٰسِطٌ ذِرَاعَيْهِ بِٱلْوَصِيدِ

while their dog stretched his forelegs at the entrance

whats the meaning of: وَتَحْسَبُهُمْ أَيْقَاظًا وَهُمْ رُقُودٌ

And you would think them awake, while they were asleep

وَتَرَى ٱلشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت

And you would see the sun when it rose

whats the meaning of: أَنَا۠ أَكْثَرُ مِنكَ مَالًا وَأَعَزُّ نَفَرًا

"I am greater than you in wealth and superior in manpower."

whats the meaning of: كَانَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَكْثَرَ شَىْءٍ جَدَلًا

but man has ever been, most dispute.

وَفِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا

and in their ears deafness.

وَٱلْبَٰقِيَٰتُ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ
