Molecule
A chemical structure formed by two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds, serving as fundamental building blocks for biological structures and processes within living organisms.
Cell
The fundamental and smallest structural and functional unit of all known living organisms, capable of carrying out essential life processes independently.
Tissue
A group of specialized cells (and their extracellular matrix) that are structurally similar and work together to perform a specific function within an organism.
Organ
A distinct anatomical structure composed of two or more different tissue types that work collaboratively to perform specific, complex physiological functions within the body.
