حسِبت

الرّقيم

ءايَتِنا

a wonder

عجباً

retreated

أوى

and facilitate us

وَهَيِّئ لنا

rightly through our affair

أمرنا رشداً

a number of years

سِنِينَ عدداً

we raised them up

بعثنَهُم

that we make evident

لِنعَلم

remained (in) time

لَبِثوا أمداً

we narrate to you their story

نقُصُّ عَلَيك نَبَأهم

and we increased them

وزِدنَهم

and we made firm

وربطنا

they stood up

قَاموا

we will never invoke/call

لن نَّدعوا

certainly

لقد

besides him

دونهِ

an enormity

شَططاً

these people of ours

هٓؤلَآء قَومُنا

They come

يأتون

with an authority

بِسلطَن

clear

بَيِّنِ

More wrong

أظلم

invents

افترى

withdraw from them

اعتزلتموهم

spread

يَنشر

(in) ease

مِّرفقاً

you might have seen

ترى

it rose

طلعت

it set

غربت

passing away from them

تَّقرضهم

the open space

فجوةٍ

The guided one

المُهتد

he lets go astray

يضلِل

A guide

مُّرشِداً

you will find

تجِد

you would think

تحسبهم

awake

أيقاظاً

asleep

رُقود

we turned

نُقلِّبُهم

stretched

بسِط

his two forelegs

ذِراعيهِ

at the entrance

بالوَصيدِ

you had looked

أطّلعت

You would have turned back

لولّيت

(in) flight

فِراراً
