* The fear that you may not get a lot of time with a family

Early Part of the War

* North korea quickly captures the capital of Seoul 
* In june, 2 days later the US joins to help the south koreans 
* In october china joins the North Koreans 
* Throughout the whole thing, the soviet union is backing the north 
* South Korea is ready for the war, the North slips around them and takes the city and this is the start of the Korean war. The Korean War marks the beginning of the Cold war.
