Duties of the President

Preside over and conduct meetings according to accepted parliamentary procedures by keeping members and discussion on track.

Duties of Vice-President

Assists the president in the discharge of duties. Fills in for president in meeting when president is gone. Serves as ex-officio member of chapter committees.

Duties of the Secretary

Prepare the program of work once it is approved by the chapter adviser. Prepares and records minutes of meetings.

Duties of the Treasurer

Prepares the chapter budget. Keeps financial records. Prepares monthly financial reports.

Duties of the Reporter

Develops media lists and public relations for the chapter. Does all press releases.

Duties of the Historian

Files paper and electronic clippings and pictures. Makes a scrapbook for the chapter. Helps the president with the Local Chapter Annual Business Report.

Duties of the Parliamentarian

Assists chapter member in understanding the basic purpose of parliamentary procedure.

Program of Work

Activities that chapter will do throughout the year with dates, duties and deadlines.

The forum in which ideas are brainstormed, decisions are made and events planned.
