intervene - The prefix inter means "between." To intervene is to come between two people, groups, or things.

revenue - Revenue is income, all the money coming into a business or coming to a government from taxes.

hyperventilation - to breathe air (take in wind) too fast or too deeply; sometimes because of excitement or nervousness.
ventilation - the supplying or circulation of fresh air (wind) to a room or plane.
circumnavigate - to travel completely around something, often by boat or plane.
circumspect - "looking around" - watchful on all sides; careful and cautious.
circumstance - a fact or event "standing around" (surrounding) and affecting a situation.
circumvent - to go around, outwit, or get the better of by trickery.
capillary - Capillary comes from Latin capillaris, meaning "hair," and is a blood vessel as thin as a hair.
deplete - Deplete is made up of de (do the opposite of) + plere (fill) and means "to empty or use up resources."
enzyme - something made in cells that causes or speeds up changes in other
parts of the body.
excretion - the discharge of waste matter from the lungs, sweat glands, and urinary or digestive organs.
hormone - Hormone comes from the Greek horme, meaning "impulse." The
human body's glands produce hormones and send them into the bloodstream.
nutrient - a substance found in food that helps living things grow and have
energy.
plasma - the clear, slightly yellowish part of the blood that carries blood cells in
the bloodstream.
replenish - to fill again or renew.
