Pancreas

Acinar Cells
They make and release digestive enzymes that help break down food in the small intestine.
Islets of Langerhans
Clusters of cells in the pancreas that secrete hormones like insulin and glucagon.
Hepatocytes
Liver cells that perform vital functions including detoxification, metabolism, and synthesis of proteins.
Kupffer Cells
They are liver immune cells that remove bacteria, old red blood cells, and toxins from the blood.
Bilirubin
Bilirubin is the waste product made from breaking down hemoglobin, and it’s removed from the body through bile.
