General Practitioner
A kind of doctor who can work with patients with all kinds of problems, usually the first contact for a patient.

Someone who is in school to become a medical doctor.

Helps in the office but is not licensed.
Primary Care Practitioner
Licensed and provides medical care to the ill.
Non-Physician Practitioner
Someone who practices under a medical doctor, such as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.

Uses equipment to do a very specific job such as drawing blood or analyzing tissue samples.
Pediatrician
A doctor for young people from infancy through teen years.
Patient Liaison
An in-between for patients and their families and doctors/hospitals, helping work out conflicts and address concerns.

Sensitivity in how you address something or someone.

Understanding and sharing the feelings of others.

Systolic pressure of less than 120 and a diastolic pressure of less than 80.

60 to 100 beats per minute.
Oxygen Saturation
95% to 100%.
Respiratory Rate
12 to 20 breaths per minute.

Normal body temperature is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

Condition occurring when core body temperature drops below 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
