Computer Ethics

refers to the set of principles and guidelines that govern the behavior of individuals and organizations in the development, use, and management of computer technology. It involves the consideration of the social and ethical implications of computer systems and their impact on individuals, organizations, and society as a whole.

Micro level

This level involves the consideration of the ethical implications of computer technology on individuals and small groups.

Meso level

This level involves the consideration of the ethical implications of computer technology on organizations and communities.

Macro level

This level involves the consideration of the ethical implications of computer technology on society as a whole.

Professional Code of Ethics

as I mentioned earlier, is a set of principles and guidelines that outline the expected behavior and conduct of individuals within a specific profession or industry.

Respect for intellectual property

The principle of respecting the intellectual property rights of others, including software, data, and other digital assets.

Privacy

Security

The principle of ensuring the security of computer systems and data, including the protection against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction.

Accountability

The principle of taking responsibility for one's actions and decisions in the development, use, and management of computer technology.
