What are the building blocks of DNA?
Nucleotides.
What are the components of a DNA nucleotide?
Phosphate, Deoxyribose sugar (a 5-carbon sugar), and a Nitrogenous base (Adenine (A), Cytosine (C), Guanine (G), or Thymine (T)).
How are individual nucleotides joined in a DNA strand?
By phosphodiester bonds.
