having internal behavior that isn’t the same from one’s culture, beings in adolescence
—> adulthood, stable, leads to personal distress or impairment, hard to treat because we don’t know if someone is telling the truth or not
Cluster A
Odd, eccentric (weird), thinking and behavior
Paranoid Personality Disorder (Cluster A)
no trust, alone, others actions=bad
Schizoid Personality Disorder (Cluster A)
No social relationships, loner, not much emotion
Schizotypal Personality Disorder (Cluster A)
may desire relationships but struggle due to odd behavior, eccentric behavior, odd, clashes with social norms
Cluster B
Dramatic, emotional, erratic, antisocial
Antisocial Personality Disorder (Cluster B)
many serial killers have this, difficulty with empathy, helps others barely, will hurt others if it helps them, no remorse or guilt
Borderline Personality Disorder (Cluster B)
unstable/unhinged, instability or relationships, self image
Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Thinks they are the best, feeds off Admiration from others, lack of care or worry, looks at people like we are ants
Histrionic Personality Disorder (Cluster B)
emotions are over the top, seeking attention by being overly emotional, taking risks to get attention
Cluster C
anxious and fearful
Avoidant Personality Disorder (Cluster C)
social inhibition, hesitation to other environments, opposite of narcism, don’t take criticism well
Dependent Personality Disorder (Cluster C)
Clinging onto a specific person and multipule other people, sacrifice self/opinions to maintain relationships (even if toxic), other people take care of you, can’t do anything without this person
Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder (Cluster C)
orderliness, perfectionism, control ie. Young Sheldon
Dissociative Identity Disorder
The presence of two or more distinct personalities, hard to diagnose, ie. Hulk
Dissociative Amnesia
Inability to remember personal information black out periods
Fuge State
Travel, going to a location and not remembering how you got there because your body becomes unconcious when traveling
