Solid red light
must a complete stop and remain stopped until the light turns green
What is an exception to the rule of stopping at a red light, what actions is the driver required to follow while undergoing this exception
When does the exception not take place
can turn right while a light is red, however you must first stop completely and yield to other traffic and pedestrians.
Can’t if a sign prevents you

What should you do if your car is close to the intersection or yellow light
Slow down and prepare to stop. If the light is green and then turns yellow as you approach slow down and prepare to stop
Then you should continue throught rath than stopping

How does it differ compared to it’s solid counterpart
slow down and exercise caution
Unlike the solid yellow light you don’t have to stop if the intersection is clear.

you may turn in the direction of the arrow if you are in the proper lane.
You must yield to oncoming traffic, since oncoming traffic will have a green light, so you do not have a “protected” turn.
