What is a universal indicator? E
A substance used to determine the pH of a solution.
How does neutralization work when a bee stings you?
Bee sting involves acid, and toothpaste is alkaline. The toothpaste neutralizes the acid, providing relief.
Explain neutralization in the laboratory using hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide.
You add hydrochloric acid into the container, add universal indicator (Turns Red). Add sodium hydroxide until the color turn to light green (pH7).
What is neutralization?
The canceling out of acid by an alkaline or the canceling out of an alkaline by an acid.
