Socialization of children
The set of interpersonal processes through which cultural meaning and social values are evolved and passed on. It allows participants to blend, understand and function well within a given interpersonal or social context.

avoids excessive control, does not enforce obedience to externally defined standards, and allows children to regulate their own activities. High nurture and low structure
Parenting style - Uninvolved
an emotionally absent or disengaged parenting style providing minimal input. In an extreme form, it can be a variation of neglect. Low nurture and low structure.
Discipline
a form of guiding behavior in which parents explore constructive ways of shaping a child’s conduct
should include encouragement, positive messages, and nurture, to guide children towards socialization, skill development and autonomy
Constructive Nurturance
refers to the ways parents actively and positively support a child’s growth, development, and well-being.
