What caused the tension between the Burgundians and the Armagnacs?
Due to the mental impairment of Charles VI the dukes of Burgundy and Orléans began to run their areas as independent states and tried to get control of the French Court.
In 1407 Duke John of Burgundy arranged for the murder of Duke Louis of Orleans.
Who was murdered on the 10th September 1419? How did this help Henry?
John the Fearless was murdered by the Armagnacs in revenge for the 1407 killing of Louis, Duke of Orleans.

It prevented the French states uniting which could have driven the English out of Normandy
Philip the Good supported Queen Isabella’s faction in the French court, a group that was far more inclined to accept a treaty with the English
What did Henry agree to do to cement the alliance with the Burgundians?
Henry agreed to assist Philip the Good in waging war against the Armagnacs.
