Undergraduate requirements
Undergrad in communication sciences & disorders or speech pathology.
pre-requisites
3 domains: 1. general knowledge, skills, aptitudes & experiences. 2. social, behavioral, biological, and physical science foundations. 3. MUST include either physics or chemistry.
SLP certificate of clinical competence and graduate degrees
2 years. Masters degree from accredited program. Classroom education: minimum 36 units. Clinical education: 400 hours. National Board exam. 9-month supervised full time fellowship, 1260 hours minimum.
AuD
4 years. Clinical doctorate. Classroom 3 years, clinical education 1 year full time during AuD program (unpaid). National Board exam.
