Dylan was a really good grandparent for Rory. They were strict when we were growing up.

Rory had strict curfews and couldn’t eat or drink anything unhealthy.

Rory introduced me to Sam at a local pizza shop.

Rory was taking out the recycling can for pick up.

It was overflowing with Slamanaid.

**What were you and Rory supposed to do that day?**

We were supposed to go out to dinner.

**Where did you plan to meet?**

We planned to meet at a local park.

**Did you arrive at the park?**

Yes.

**What if anything did you observe when you got there?**

I saw Sam filming Rory by the monkey bars. Sam’s 18 almost 19, and they were hanging out at a kids playground.

**What happened next?**

I saw Rory downing a drink.

**What’d he do next?**

Rory started doing jumping jacks.

**How’d he look after that?**

Rory looked really ragged

Rory began to run.

**How far away were you from Rory at this time?**

I was about 50 yards away.

I saw Rory almost immediately go down.

Sam was still filming Rory on the ground.

It’s the 911 call I made for help.

I say “No, turn off that camera.” And I ask, “Sam what were you two doing?”

I said, “Stop filming me!”

**Thank you. Looking back, to Rory, was he…. experiencing any major symptoms?**

I don’t have any training in medicine, but I could see that Rory was unconscious. Even when I tapped his face and yelled. He was sweating horribly, with a drenched shirt.

**How long did it take for the ambulance to get there?**

It wasn’t that long, maybe five or six minutes?

**What did you do then?**

I got in the ambulance with Rory.

**Where was Sam?**

I didn’t see Sam. But, when we were closing the door to the ambulance, I saw Sam typing away on the cellphone.
