Direct object pronouns
me, te, lo, la, nos, os, los, las
When using direct object pronouns in a ONE VERB sentence...
the DO pronoun goes directly before the verb.
I buy them.
Los compro.
When using direct object pronouns in a TWO VERB sentence...
the DO pronoun attaches to the infinitive.
I want to buy them.
Quiero comprarlos.
Indirect object pronouns
me, te, le, nos, os, les
When using indirect object pronouns in a ONE VERB sentence...
the IO pronoun goes directly before the verb.
He gives you a book.
Él te da un libro.
You buy him a pencil.
Tú le compras un lapiz.
When using indirect object pronouns in a TWO VERB sentence...
the IO pronoun attaches to the infinitive.
You need to buy me a book.
Tú necesitas comprarme un libro.
When using BOTH pronouns...
the IO pronoun comes first.
They give them to me.
Ellos me los dan.
If both pronouns start with an "L", change the first pronoun to "se"
le lo = se lo
le la = se la
...
