G1
This stage is part of the Interphase phase. During this stage, there is cell growth and cellular functions, and organelle replication.
S
This stage is part of the interphase phase. During this stage, cell growth and chromosome/DNA replication, and organille replication occur, preparing the cell for division.
G2
This stage is part of the interphase phase. During this stage the cell continues to grow, and cellurlar functions are further prepared for mitosis, including the synthesis of proteins necessary for cell division.
Interphase
Includes stages G1, S, and G2. It is the phase where the cell prepares for division by growing and replicating its DNA and organelles.
Miotic Phase
The phase of the cell cycle where mitosis and cytokinesis occur, resulting in the division of the cell into two daughter cells.
Mitosis
Stage in teh Miotic phase where there is division of the nucleus, resulting in two identical nuclei.
Cytokineis
Part of the Miotic phase that follows mitosis, where the cytoplasm divides, resulting in two separate daughter cells.
Prophase
The first stage of mitosis, where chromatin condenses into visible chromosomes, the nuclear envelope breaks down, and spindle fibers begin to form.
