Apostrophe
A poetic phrase or speech made by a character that is addressed to a subject that is not literary present in the literary work.
Designed to direct readers attention to the subject being addressed to express internal thoughts, etc.
“Love, who needs you?”
“Cmon, Phone, give me a ring”
Dramatic Irony
Audience know more about a situation then characters do.
