What are simple machines?

Simple machines are tools that make work easier by reducing force or changing direction.

Example simple machines?

Examples: lever, pulley, wheel and axle, inclined plane, wedge, and screw.

What are the types of levers?

➡ First-class: Fulcrum in middle (seesaw).
➡ Second-class: Load in middle (wheelbarrow).
➡ Third-class: Effort in middle (tweezers).

What is an inclined plane?

An inclined plane is a sloped surface that reduces the effort needed to lift an object, like a ramp or slide.

What is a compound machine?

A compound machine is made up of two or more simple machines working together.
