some people can or cant buy things based on their values (like religion/beliefs or being vegan i guess lmao)

if something is popular or trendy, this makes other people want to buy it too just to fit in or follow the crowd

when people get their salary, they tend to spend their money more on things they see in stores (because their budget is higher than before, so they think they can spend more too)

on events like Christmas, Halloween, or birthdays, businesses or stores will put up items or products that would fit that event

The right to express consumer interests in the making and execution of government policies

The right to be compensated for misrepresentation, shoddy goods or unsatisfactory services.

The right to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be an informed consumer
Right to a Healthy Environment
The right to live and work in an environment which is neither threatening nor dangerous, and which permits a life of dignity and well-being

whenever we buy products, we must know their information (like the expiry date and ingredients). By doing so, we help ourselves by saving money and knowing what to buy

as a consumer, you must know and understand your product warranty. whenever you see damages to your product, you must go to the store and seek repair, replacement, or refund.

as a consumer, you must understand how your bought products affect society and its people (like farmers, fishers, and manufacturers)

as a consumer, you must know how our bought products affect the environment. In order to do so, we must remember and act the 3R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle)

a characteristic of a consumer where they patiently examine the quality, perceivable value and benefits that can be expected of the product and compares them with other products available

a characteristic of a consumer where they always look for the best alternative that will suit their needs and within their budget when the product they initially wanted isn’t available
avoiding panic buying
a characteristic of a consumer where they always exercise rational buying and does not make buying decisions out of fear, panic, or excitement
