What are Fungi?
A distinctive group of organisms that are heterotrophs, filamentous bodies, cell walls made of chitin, and nuclear mitosis.

What is Cell Specialization?
It requires that different cell uses different genes.
What is Intercellular Coordination?
The adjustment of cell’s activity in response to what other cells are doing.

The form of slender filaments where fungi exist.
What is Mycelium?
A mass of hyphae that can form.
What are Spores?
How fungi reproduce by it being carried/flowed through air.
How are Fungi decomposers?
Fungi are the only organisms that can break down lignin in wood.
What are the commercial uses of Fungi?
manufacture of bread, beer (yeast), wine, cheese and soy sauce all depend on fungi, many antibiotics are derived from fungi (penicillin), can be used to clean up toxic substances from the environment.
