Ecumene
The inhabited land of the earth where people are settled.

Transhumance
The seasonal movement of livestock between fixed summer and winter pastures.
Internally Displaced Persons
People who are forced to flee their home but remain in their home country.
Voluntary Migration
Migration in which individuals choose to move freely, rather than being forced.
Guest Worker
A legal immigrant allowed to work in a country for a limited time.
Dependency Ratio
The ratio of dependents (people not in the workforce) to producers (people working).
