anything that causes anxiety or stress. Different factors can affect anxiety; some patients may have white coat syndrome which is anxiety leading to a increased blood pressure .

air pollution, ultraviolet rays from sun-exposure, overcrowding, language and cultural barriers, discrimination cause physical stress

Death of a loved one, theft, vandalism, motor-vehicle crashes, physical assault, job, school problems, fires, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, and war - anxiety from environmental factors

Socioeconomic Stressors

Stress over financial situations; sudden unexpected expense can cause stress to a patients life. stress due to loss of investments, identify theft, lack of security, and even healthcare
