Prehistory

The period of time before written records.

Geography

The study of places and the relationships between people and their environment.

Culture

The customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group.

Customs

Duties levied by a government on imported goods.

Society

The aggregate of people living together in a more or less community.

Archaeology

The study of human history and prehistory through the excavation of sites and the physical remains.

Artifacts

An object made by a human being, typically an item of cultural or historical interest.

Government

The system to govern a state or community.

Religion

The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a God or gods.

Legacy

The long-lasting impact of a particular event, action, etc.

Prime meridian

The line of 0° longitude, the starting point for measuring distance east and west around the earth.

Equator

An imaginary line drawn equidistant from both poles. The earth is divided in to a northern and southern half.

Hemisphere

Half of earth, usually divided as northern or southern hemispheres by the equator.
