It consisted of a concoction of mint and other special ingredients that would be added to a scoop of ice cream. To the author, this treat represented her great grandfather's culture. The sad thing about this story is that the recipe is no longer in the family. Her great grandfather decided to sell the recipe to a businessman who probably has not used it.
