Stage 1: High Stationary
Which stage of the Demographic Transition Model is characterized by a high birth rate and a high death rate?
Stage 2: Early Expanding
Which stage of the Demographic Transition Model is characterized by a high birth rate and a rapidly falling death rate?
Stage 3: Late Expanding
Which stage of the Demographic Transition Model is characterized by a falling birth rate and a more slowly falling death rate?
Stage 4: Low Stationary
Which stage of the Demographic Transition Model is characterized by a low birth rate and a low death rate?
Many children needed for farming, many children die at an early age, religious/social encouragement, no family planning
What are some reasons for changes in birth rate during Stage 2: Early Expanding?
