posterior protrusion of the lateral side of the scapula; articulates with the clavicle

Coracoid process

anterior protrusion on the lateral side of the scapula; origin of many muscles 

Glenoid cavity

part of the scapula where the head of the humerus inserts

Spine of the scapula

horizontal process on the posterior aspect of the scapula; prominently felt

Scapular notch

small divot directly medial (behind) to the glenoid cavity 

Superior margain

top edge of the scapula

Lateral margain

outer edge of the scapula; inferior to the glenoid cavity

Medial margain

inner edge of the scapula; edge closes to the vertebra

Sternal Extremity of the clavicle

medial end of the clavicle; articulates with the sternum 

Acromial Extremity of the clavicle 

lateral end of the clavicle; articulates with the acromion process of the scapula
