Those accused of crimes have the right to be represented by a lawyer

Extends the right to a jury trial in Federal civil cases

8th Amendment

Prohibits excessive bail and fines, and cruel and unusual punishment

9th Amendment

The rights explicitly stated in the Constitution are not the only rights the people are entitled to

10th Amendment

Federal government only retains the powers explicitly delegated by the Constitution, all others belong to the states or the people
