Describe a BASIC manicure?

• includes arm, hand and finger massage

• approx 30 minutes

• also known as a WATER manicure

Describe a OIL manicure?

• softens dry skin and leaves skin feeling soft

• recommended for ridged and brittle nails

• hands are soaked in oil after filing

• and massaged when removing oil

Describe an ELECTRIC manicure?

• performed using an electrical device operated by a motor

• device has a variety of attachments

Describe a BOOTH manicure?

• combination with another service

  (manicure while client is having a facial)

Describe a GENTS/MALE manicure:

• includes nail filing

• cuticle care and

• buffing

Describe a FRENCH manicure:

• differs from a basic manicure only in the painting of the nails

• the application is natural looking and clean

• base coat is applied, and free edge is painted with white
