Superior Vena Cava
Part of the cardiovascular system that brings deoxygenated blood back to the heart.

Antagonist
The opposing muscle that allows movement to occur (e.g., Quadricep in a hamstring curl).
Isoinertial Concentric Contraction
The type of muscular contraction where the muscle shortens as weight is lifted (e.g., Hamstring when weight is raised).
Isoinertial Eccentric Contraction
The type of muscular contraction where the muscle lengthens as weight is lowered (e.g., Quadricep when weight is raised).
Flexion
The anatomical movement at the knee when the weight is raised during a hamstring curl.
Extension
The anatomical movement at the knee when the weight is lowered during a hamstring curl.
Red Blood Cells
Carries oxygen.
Platelets
