consolidate

To combine data from multiple worksheets and display the result on another worksheet.

custom cell style

A cell style created by a user and added to a workbook.

custom format

A format you create to accommodate specific requirements.

drilling an entry

A feature that lets you enter a number in the same cell through all selected worksheets.

format codes

A series of symbols used to describe exactly how Excel should display a number, date, time, or text string.

hide

To remove a row, column, or worksheet from view while still keeping it part of the worksheet.

ROUND function

The function that rounds a value to the nearest digit.

TODAY function

A function that returns only the current date, which updates each time a worksheet is opened.

3-D Reference

a cell reference that includes the sheet name and allows users to access data from multiple sheets in a single formula

Hyperlink

creates a shortcut that jumps to another location in the current workbook, opens a document, or a website.

Grouping Sheets

allows you to perform tasks on multiple worksheets at once
