Design argument
The argument that God designed the universe because its complexity could not have happened by chance.

The argument that there must be an uncaused cause that started everything.
Eternal
Without beginning or end.
Creation
The act by which God brought the universe into existence.
Miracle
A seemingly impossible event that cannot be explained by science and is believed to be caused by God.
Proof
Evidence that shows something is true.
Faith
Trust or belief that goes beyond evidence or proof, especially in God.
Evil
The opposite of good; a destructive force against God.
Suffering
Experiencing pain, distress, or hardship.
Ultimate reality
The supreme or most important power or truth in existence.
The divine
God, gods, or ultimate reality.
Revelation
God showing himself to humans.
Special revelation
God revealing himself through personal experiences or specific events.
Vision
A religious experience where someone sees something revealing God or the afterlife.
Enlightenment
Gaining deep spiritual knowledge or understanding, often through meditation.

God revealing himself through everyday experiences such as nature.

All-powerful.
Omniscient

Benevolent
All-loving and all-good.

The belief that God is present and involved in the universe.
Transcendent
The belief that God exists beyond and outside the universe.
Personal nature of God
The belief that God is a person with whom humans can have a relationship.
Impersonal nature of God
The belief that God is a force or idea rather than a personal being.
